The Command of the S-Boats was established in Flensburg-Mürwik on 01.10.1957 with Organization Order No. 71 - Navy. On 04.10.1994 the S-Boat-Flottilla moved to the new post t Warnemünde. With introduction of the so called Einsatzflottille 1 (EF 1) as one of the two larger units under direct control of the Fleetcommand in Glücksburg-Meierwik the S-Flotilla was closed down on 29.06.2006 as well as all other Type-Commands. All S-Boats (7. S-Squad) are now assigned to EF 1. Also the new corvettes of Braunschweig-Class (K 130) were assigned to EF 1.
