The boat "S 158" was hit by a bomb from an aircraft on 25.10.1944 off Šibenik/Kroatia and was laying with its quarter looming over the surface of the sea at a cliff. One torpedo was slung up among the trees by the power of the exploding bomb. To men were killed in action, to were lightly and four men heavily injured.

Since a salvage would not have paid out, the wreck was blown up the next day. It lays at a depth of 40 m and was found by divers of the Diver's Club Š ibenik in 2014 according to different documents and photographs were taken and films made.
